Below is a list of the various PTA committees.

From baking, to typing, to arts and crafts most committees could use an extra hand and we would all appreciate your participation regardless of your schedule. Drop us a note and let us know how much (or how little) you would like to be involved.

Since 2002, Smithtown Elementary School has earned over $5,639.00 in free money just for clipping out and sending in your Box Tops.

Please continue to help our school! One of the easiest ways to get on board is to join the “Box Tops for Education Booster Club” by logging on to: www.boxtops4education.com/super. Registering only takes a few minutes and is so rewarding. If you sign up by October 31, 2007, we will receive an extra 7 bonus points per email address.

Aid the teachers in assembling a "published book" for each child in the school.

We meet Tuesday mornings from 10:00 to whenever all year long with the exception of the month of December. Mid January, May and June tend to be exceptionally busy and any help at all is greatly appreciated. Volunteers do not need to be there every week. Even just occasional involvement is appreciated.
